One day, a 2-year-old girl came to the shelter for homeless animals and chose her own pet!

Audra Spurio took her 2-year-old daughter to a shelter and let her choose her pet. The woman did not even think that her daughter would choose a sick pit bull who needed care. The child felt that the animal needed help and insisted on her choice.

“My daughter has made her choice. She needed this dog! Though I’m surprised by her choice, I respect her decision!” Audra told The Dodo. The pit bull stank strongly, but the girl insisted, “Mom, it’s him!”.

There are many dogs in animal shelters waiting for their owners. But 2-year-old Gigi asked to let the dog out to play. Many children would be afraid to adopt such a sick, smelly dog, but this girl only saw him as a 4-legged friend that needed her help.

“The frightened dog instantly became happy in the hands of Gee. The poor thing had hope for a home. And I should have let her take that dog,” Audra said.

“The dog was named Scarlett and now she already has her own home and is gradually getting for better,” Audra told The Dodo. The woman shared this story and it got almost 14 million views on YouTube.

The girl is also happy. She helps in taking care of the dog and does not let the animal get bored. They often walk and play together.
