Dandon Miller was returning home from Philadelphia. On the way, the guy noticed that the traffic slowed down – apparently there was a traffic jam on the road. Having got down from the motorcycle, Miller decided to check what was the cause of the traffic jam.
He was shocked when he saw that the cause of the traffic jam was an eagle standing in the middle of the road.

“I stood for a couple of minutes to see if the bird would fly off the road, but the eagle was not going anywhere. It was suspicious that a wild bird was standing on the road so calmly. There must have been a serious reason for this – the bird’s wing was injured!”, the guy said.

Miller, being an animal lover, decided that he must help the bird escape danger.

The bird was wounded and unable to fly, but the eagle’s claws were sharp and dangerous. Miller decided to take off his shirt and throw it over the bird, despite the fact that it was his favorite shirt. He wrapped the eagle in a shirt.

“I wrapped the eagle in a shirt and everyone around started taking pictures of me and praising me for my bravery. After picking up the sea eagle off the road, I called 911 and then contacted the local wild bird rehabilitation center. The 15-pound bird was in my shirt for about 45 minutes while rescuers arrived,” Miller said.

“The eagle had an eye and soft tissue injury. Luckily there was no fracture,” Rebecca Stansell, a representative of the rescue center told Dodo.

The wounds were treated while the eagle was under anesthesia. Miller’s shirt was a little damaged by the eagle’s claws, but Miller realising that his shirt served a good cause and don’t worry about it!
