We have heard about various examples of unusual friendship between different animals in the world. For example, dogs and cats, a puppy and a pigeon, a giraffe and an ostrich… But this case is really unique and strange. Who can think that a black American bear, an African lion and a Bengal tiger could have been living in perfect harmony with each other for 15 years?

They first met during a raid in a basement of one of the houses in Atlanta. The animals were discovered by the anti-drug police. Then the animals were transferred to Noah’s Ark Animal Shelter in Georgia. And even there they remained inseparable friends. They always stuck together.

The animals suffered a lot before being found by the police. They lived in bad conditions, were bullied and underfed. Luckily they were saved from this nightmare.

Now this trio lives in a shelter. They were fattened, washed and cured. But they cannot return to the wild because some injuries are no longer curable and they simply would not survive there. Besides they used to be fed and they won’t be able to hunt.

The animal shelter is a perfect place for them in this case. The territory is quite large, they are not kept in cages.

In the wild, they would have no chance to meet again.

Their acquaintance took place in terrible conditions, but now they live together and are absolutely happy. As it is said difficulties bring together, just as these animals, having gone through torments together, became a family.
