In 1993, during a film festival, Kate Beckinsale, along with Keanu Reeves and Robert Sean Leonard, presented a movie called Much Ado About Nothing. Kate was just 19 years old at the time and didn’t have anyone to help with her clothes.

Kate decided to put a flower from a vase in her hair that came with her breakfast in the hotel room. She wore a colorful brown dress and tough boots, and everything looked nice together.

But there was a problem with her underwear.

She had bought a bodysuit from a shop at the airport. When she got into the car to go to the premiere with Denzel and Pauletta Washington, the buttons on the bodysuit came undone, and it went up like a curtain. Kate couldn’t fix it in the car.

She arrived at the event on the Croisette and immediately told her co-stars what happened. Keanu and Robert helped her walk past the cameras. Kate shared a picture from her personal collection taken at the film festival.

“On the most important red carpet of my life, I quietly told Keanu and Robert Sean Leonard what had happened.

In the picture, I’m holding the front part of my bodysuit, and they’re holding the back part. They were both amazing and didn’t hesitate to help, even if they didn’t fully understand what was going on or knew the word ‘gusset.’ They just came to my rescue,” Kate said.

This year, Kate returned to the Cannes Film Festival and was in charge of the amfAR gala. Russian model Alena Gavrilova also attended the event.
