The 26-year-old American actress is celebrating another success in her career. Zendaya Coleman has received a prestigious film award.

The 80th Golden Globe Awards took place in the United States, in Beverly Hills. The achievements of film and television figures of the 2022 were being celebrated. Zendaya received the coveted award. This is the first award nomination in her career and the first prize.

The rising Hollywood star beat the competition to win the Golden Globe for Best Actress in a Drama Series for her work on Euphoria. Among other nominees were Hilary Swank for Alaska Daily, Imelda Staunton for The Crown, Laura Linney for Ozark and Emma D’Arcy for House of the Dragon.

Zendaya was unable to attend the ceremony due to a busy filming schedule. The award was handed over to her representatives.

Euphoria is a teen drama television series created and written by Sam Levinson for HBO. He talks about a group of high school students who find their identity through a traumatic experience.

The star of the Spider-Man saga has a major role in the project. She plays 17-year-old Rue Bennett, who returns home from rehab. The girl takes up old habits – drugs and parties, until a man appears in her environment who gave her hope for healing.

In 2020 and 2021, Zendaya received a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress for her performance in an HBO series. The girl became the youngest two-time Emmy winner in history.

Now Zendaya and her other partners in the popular project are preparing for the filming of the third season. It is possible that it will bring her many more awards.
