However, some dogs remain in the shelter and need constant care. Many volunteers helped to take care for the animals, but since the lockdown, the number of volunteers has decreased. In addition, it is necessary to improve the conditions for the sanctuary.

After a few rainy days, the roof began to leak and the floor of the shelter began to rot.

They want to make a new surface with a gravel foundation below the fake grass that would absorb rain (and dog pee) and save cleanup time. The sanctuary is on track to raise $15,000 for this project, and they have collected almost the half of the sum.

After a small renovation, the shelter will be able to accept more dogs and offer more comfortable conditions for the animals.
