She met her husband, Danny Moder while on set. The actors have been together for over 20 years and claim that it was love at first sight.

During an interview with Oprah, she said that she believes in a “Happy Life, Happy Wife”. And after 20 years of marriage, her husband still gives her butterflies.

The actress doesn’t shoot in many movies anymore and as she says, it’s because of her busy schedule with her husband. She has to stay with the kids most of the time.

Julia admitted that she is a very strict parent and she doesn’t let her kids get away with anything. She doesn’t let them watch much TV, she doesn’t let they use phones a lot, etc.

As she says she doesn’t punish them, she just sits down and has a long and meaningful conversation with them.

Keeping their kids out of the spotlight is one of Roberts and Moder’s top priorities when it comes to parenting.
