Shelter worker adopted a kitten who wouldn’t meow endlessly at him
Sugar arrived at the Exploits Valley SPCA with a respiratory virus and was in need to stay at the shelter longer than his siblings.
During the healing process, he became the favorite of the staff and volunteers.
They described him as friendly and sweet. One of the staff members Glen has been working at the shelter for 30 years and spent a lot of time with Sugar. They bonded with each other.
He would yell at her so that he would stop working and pay him attention.
He meowed endlessly for his love.
Although he had cared for lots of animals in the past years, something about him was different. He couldn’t let him go. In the beginning, she didn’t have any plans to adopt him, but eventually, it was clear that their bond is too special, and he can’t let another person adopt him.
He adopted him officially and everyone was excited.
Now he lives in his new home. Glen wakes up happy every day knowing that he made the right choice.
Some bonds can’t be broken easily. Everyone is so glad that they found each other and can make each other’s lives better.
