We all need hugs, especially on Valentine’s day. So if you need one you should visit Chelsea in NYC, to meet a celebrity dog with more than 60k followers on Instagram.
The Golden Retriever is named after a French shoe designer. She spends around 2 hours a day hugging people she meets.
“This isn’t just a simple walk,” claims her owner. “ It’s a walk where you get hugged. I feel so proud and happy every time someone says that the hug has made their day. Imagine a person has a bad day at work and then they get a hug from an adorable dog. Maybe that’s everything they needed.”
Initially, it all started when Loubie held hands with her owner on Valentine’s day after he ended his relationship.
“ It was as if she could sense my sadness so she kept grabbing my face with her paws,” claims her owner. “ I remember how my friends joked about me at least having someone to hold hands with on lover’s day.”
