When pets get older, their owners become more attentive to them, they are afraid that they will not manage to give them proper attention. There are cases when old animals have problems with movement. Some owners try to do their best to help them get around. One man decided to take his dog on a trip before the animal leaves this world!

Carlos Fresco always took his 10-year-old pet with him on various hikes, walks and even travels.

“When Monty was diagnosed with leukemia, I couldn’t believe that his days were numbered. We had a lot of plans and I couldn’t let Monty leave this world without visiting one of his favorite hiking spots: Pen-and- Fun in the Brecon Beacons in Wales,” Carlos told SWNS.

Carlos knew that Monty couldn’t get to the top of the hill on his own, he helped the dog get to the top with the help of a wheelbarrow!

People turning around looked at the wheelbarrow and those who learned about the situation could not hold back their tears.

“This little guy made a lot of people think about life and how short it is. He was really special. Rest in peaced, baby!” Carlos told SWNS.
