The two lion cubs abandoned by their mother were rescued by a man. Seven years later the animals recognized their rescuer!
Fortunately, there are many kind people in the world who devotedly help and save animals. Thanks to them, many animals are saved or get a chance to live in more favorable conditions. Animals are also very unique creatures that are able to express their gratitude to those who helped them.
Kevin, a Lion Park worker witnessed a lioness mother abandon her newborn cubs. He delivered the cubs to a rescue center in South Africa. The animals were well cared for there, but they were still in cages.
Kevin had an opinion that animals should live in freedom, so the cubs were released into the Wildlife Park when they were a little older. In the park, lion cubs learned to survive without human help.
Seven years later, Richardson decided to visit the cubs. He returned to where he had once let the lion cubs go – Meg and Amy. He wondered if they would recognize him. Richardson risked and approached them. This moment was captured on camera.
Already an adult lioness stood in front of him and looked directly into his eyes. Suddenly, Meg ran up to her savior and hugged him.
Seven years later, the animal still remembered the man who worried about their fate. Kevin was touched by the lions’ loyalty and was inspired to found the Kevin Richardson Wildlife Sanctuary, which became home for over 3,000 lions of all ages.
