Success came to the actor quite by accident – right on the street. The agent, who was just looking for a boy for the role of John Connor, spotted the young man and invited him to try for his movies.

Impressing everyone and beating thousands of applicants for the role, Edward first appeared on television. The success of the film and Furlong’s acting brought not only popularity to the young man, but also a lot of money. In this picture, the young actor did not stop. Edward actively accepted offers, but, as he admitted in an interview, not for the sake of creativity, but because of money.
