In 1994, Hollywood actor Brad Pitt purchased a house in Los Feliz, California, and wanted to buy several more lots in the area to expand his estate. He ended up selling his Hollywood Hills home to actress Cassandra Peterson, famously known for her role as Elvira in numerous films and TV shows.

However, it was revealed that Pitt had bought the house from a 90-year-old man who had lost his wife, and he invited the man to live there rent-free until his death.
Peterson, who lived next door to Pitt for several years, praised his generosity towards the elderly man and herself. She admitted that the actor was always kind and sweet to her, and he even made her excited when he trained with a punching bag in his yard while preparing for the movie “Fight Club” on the estate. Pitt lived in the house with his then-wife Angelina Jolie and their six children until their divorce in 2016. He lived alone in the house for several years before selling it in March 2021 for $39 million.

Pitt’s friends revealed that he sold the house to move to the small beach town of Carmel in Northern California, where he has already purchased a new home for $40 million.
