Have you ever thought about the fact that it’s time to start stocking up on food in case of military operations, another pandemic or, in general, a nuclear apocalypse?

But a woman named Rowan Mackenzie is definitely ready for any scenario on our planet and has taken care of everything for a long time.

A resident of the United States began her preparations 11 years ago, when beliefs were extremely widespread in the world when the belief was spread that the end of the world would come in 2011/2012. Since then, Rowan has been slowly stocking her closet shelves with food (particularly cans of beans) after learning ways to extend their shelf life.

However, as she prepared, the woman began to think about the construction of a whole bunker and soon began to realize her intentions. Thus, the “American doomsday storekeeper,” as the media call her, spent a total of $8 811 on equipping a bunker that contains food and weapons for a quarter of a century ahead.

Here is how Rowan McKenzie explains his actions: “I believe that everyone should somehow be prepared, since food is basically vital, and all people should have extra supplies in case of an emergency.”

Of course, it is not easy for a woman to live because of her rather gloomy ideas about the future, and she admits that from time to time she is criticized by both acquaintances and members of her family, who even consider her mentally ill.

Here is Mackenzie’s response to this kind of attack: “My friends and family think I’m crazy, but I always tell them that when that time comes, they will definitely stop calling me crazy”.

And finally, in an interview with the British edition of The Mirror, Rowan gave some advice that will help you navigate in the event of a possible crisis: “My most important advice is: do not panic. Just every time you go to the store, buy a little more of certain products, and soon you will notice progress. There is no better feeling than knowing that you are prepared for whatever may happen and that your family is protected”.
