“Unconditional Childhood Friendship”: Children Certainly Have Something To Teach Adults – The Story Of Two Schoolchildren!
Boys Nehemiah and Mikey Jensen were looking forward to “Twins Day” at their school, a fun dress-up where students had to match the person who looks most like them.
Nehemiah and Mikey were friends and were like two peas in a pod. Their friendship meant a lot to each other.
Mikey’s father, Michael Jensen, was impressed by the boys’ unconditional friendship. In May 2019, he shared a photo of them on social network and told the story of their friendship.
When someone asked little Mikey what makes him different from Nehemiah, he simply replied, “Nothing, he’s just bigger.”
Netizens have been talking a lot about the photo of Nehemiah and Mikey. By December 16, 2022, the post had been shared by more than 322 thousand people, and more than 14 thousand users had left a comment.
“It’s amazing how pure and innocent the soul of children is. Adults feud over skin color, status, nation and more, while children just are able to be friends and love each other. Kindness comes from the heart, not the color of the skin. The world needs more of this.”
“Unfortunately, adults see the differences, but children do not. The world is fascinating when it is viewed through the eyes of a teenager.”
Everyone can learn from Nehemiah and Mikey’s friendship. They certainly could teach adults something about acceptance and kindness. Their friendship shows that love conquers all and we wish them all the best in the future!
