Scaredy dog won’t go anywhere without his beloved dollar store blanket
Shauna Halstad admits that her dog Flynn is a scaredy-cat.
The 110-pound Bernese mountain dog/Newfoundland mix is terrified of boxes, the dark, and their toothless cat. They joke that he is afraid of his own shadow.
But his beloved blanket helps him get through every difficulty.
He took his blankets everywhere for the past one and a half years.
The owner never suspected that he would become so attached to it when first she brought it home from the dollar store.
It was meant for cleaning his paws. But he decided it was for cuddling.
She bought more of those blankets. The first thing he does in the morning is to grab it and then drag it all over the place even backyard.
It is a bit larger than a dish towel.
For him, it is more than regular fabric. It makes him feel of safety.
He is the soft blanket for his family.
