Researchers have found that they find food in the rainforests. They eat sloths, monkeys, parrots, snakes, and iguanas. More than 100 species can be their prey and some of them can exceed their own body weight.
They are powerful and can be frightening. They look like a man wearing a bird costume.
World Atlas says that there are 6 other huge eagles.
They face extinction mainly because of human influence.
If we don’t change anything they will disappear in the coming years.
