Leslie Muir is an explorer who searches for abandoned and eerie places in Canada to take photographs. One day, she stumbled upon a dilapidated house that had always intrigued her.

As she was about to take pictures, she heard some noises and discovered an elderly man named Lawrence living alone in the living room.

Despite his scary appearance, Leslie discovered that Lawrence was actually a kind and friendly person. He was partially paralyzed due to a bull injury and a stroke, and had been living alone in an abandoned house.

Leslie started to visit him regularly, cleaned the house, cooked for him, and brought him her dog named Violet.

She eventually realized that Lawrence’s health was deteriorating and decided to move him to a local nursing home.

Leslie continues to visit him, and hopes that Lawrence’s story will inspire people to reconnect with those they have lost touch with. The old man considers Leslie his friend, and she feels happy to have met him.
