The main character of this story is Mila, a young mom cat. Her mistress was always surprised by her care for the kittens. “She is just a perfect mom”, she said.
However, recently her mistress has noticed that something was happening to the cat. Previously, she devoted all the time to her children: she fed, warmed them, licked and hugged them, and now she disappears right after feeding the babies and appears when she has to feed them again.
The woman wondered what was happening, where her cat was going. She followed her and what she saw shocked her. It turns out that she left home for the forest to feed the little squirrels with her milk, who probably were left without a mother.
“We don’t know where the squirrel mother disappeared and how Mila found them. We can only say that she has a very strong maternal instinct, which worked when she saw the hungry baby squirrels,” Mila’s owner said.
The woman decided to adopt baby squirrels so that it would be easier for Mila to take care of her kittens and to feed the squirrels on time.
