An employee of the British animal shelter Battersea Dogs & Cats Home shared a touching story. A few weeks ago, tiny kittens were brought into their shelter.

Passers-by found newborn babies on the side of the road. It is difficult to take care of the new-born kittens in a shelter, so Rachel decided to bring them to her home and care for them on her own.

The woman had a black Labrador, Bartie, that was also a former guest of the Bettersea shelter.

According to the woman, her dog turned out to be a wonderful teacher, he was patient and caring, like a real father. He helped Rachel take care of the kittens. Together they watched how seven fluffy silly kittens turn into young animals, independent, with a unique character.

When the kittens grew up a little, they had to return them to the shelter. Rachel and Bertie missed the noisy games and the daily hustle and bustle.

Fortunately, all seven cats later found their homes!
