In early 2020, Kieran Hedley was with his friend in Bali. Suddenly, it began to rain, and they found a local temple to hide. They heard music playing and dancing.
He noticed a small dog covered in scrabs, staying close to a ripped piece of cardboard on the ground amid the noise.
He felt the urgency of the situation. He thought that she might be stray. She was waiting for someone to show up and take care of her.
He couldn’t leave her like that, so he called a group that rehomes animals who ended up in the streets. He wrapped her in his T-shirt and took her home with him.
He named her Bubbles because of her effervescence.
She received all the necessary vaccinations and got treated for her skin conditions. He helped her to adapt to people.
During the first weeks, he would sleep off while observing the cute little creature. Over time, she became a social butterfly.

Two months later, because of the COVID-19 outbreak, he had to return to his homeland without her. He made sure to find her a caring owner.
He found a woman who was heading back to her home in Italy and was excited to take Bubbles with her.
The dog and Hadley met up again in Italy 2 years ago. She immediately recognized him and started licking him.
Hedley mentioned that it was one of the most beautiful moments of his life.
