Hollywood stars continue litigation over family business. Angelina Jolie denied information about some agreements with Brad Pitt.

Former spouses are suing because of the French winery Chateau Miraval. According to Pitt, he agreed with Jolie that neither of them would sell their share of the business without agreeing with the other side. The actor believes that his ex-wife deliberately harmed him when she agreed to a deal with Russian oligarch Yuri Shefler.

Angelina remained silent for a long time and asked her ex-husband only to give her time to prepare all the documents. Now the actress has expressed her indignation. Angelina’s legal team stated that there were no agreements between Angelina and Brad.

“Ms Jolie denies that such an agreement exists. She alleges in a counterclaim that Mr. Pitt specifically waived the right of first refusal in writing. After the first attempt to negotiate the sale of her stake in Nouvel to Pitt, Jolie indicated that she was fed up with the conditions that he put forward on the deal. Pitt also demanded that the winery’s new co-owner appear in court to testify. The businessman agreed to hand over the documents, but refused to attend the meeting at this stage of the proceedings, as he said it was “too burdensome”. Shefler also recalled that he owns a foreign company, so further dispute may take place outside of California.

Jolie recently received important documents that will help her in her legal battle with her ex-husband. The FBI provided the actress with a secret 100-page volume that detailed the incident on the plane that was the key reason for the couple’s divorce.
