This tiny monkey ended up in a tough situation after her mom rejected her after her birth. The zookeepers did everything they could to save the little baby’s life. Now the monkey is healthy and is getting taken care of.

When the zookeepers found her she weighed even less than an ounce. Unfortunately, the baby’s mother didn’t want the baby so the keepers knew they had to do anything to keep her and take care of her.

The monkey named Betty remained under the care of the keepers for several months. After getting rejected by her own parents, the keepers took care of her and fed her.

“We feed her every 2 hours to keep her in balance and get her in a good shape and health,” says the keeper. “ It really doesn’t seem that way but it takes a lot of hard work to keep this tiny monkey.”
